 The maximum number of Ambassadors our club can host : 15

  About the club : Our club was founded in 1987.  There are around 50 members.

   We will have one outbound and one inbound journey each year.

  Sometimes, 2 host families might share hosting an ambassador for a week(3 nights each). 
  In that case ambassadors can enjoy two different houses.

  About the region : Koriyama is in the north-east part of Japan, with the population of about 330,000, and an area of 757 square kilometers, surrounded by beautiful natural environment.

 We recommend visiting in April, May or October.  The average maximum temperature is 16 degrees Celsius in those months. There are nice spots to see cherry blossoms (mid-April) and autumn leaves (late October).  

You can easily visit the Mt. Bandai, Lake Inawashiro area (National park), and an old castle town (Aizu Wakamatsu) by car or train.

  About Hosting program :
・Visit to the Mayor and something enjoyable (picnic and so on) 
・Hands-on experience of traditional Japanese culture
・Welcome party (in the middle of your stay) 
・One-day bus trip to the Aizu area. 

 Guest rooms are often smaller than you imagine. Sometimes those are tatami mat rooms and you will sleep on Futon.
 Please enjoy the difference culture experiences.
